So I stumbled upon something very interesting about one of my favorite colors. That sounds like something out of a board game... Magenta supposedly isn't a real color according to Liz Elliott over at Null Hypothesis: The Journal of Unlikely Science. Her article Magenta Ain't A Colour is amazing and deserves a full read.

Azteca anyone?

So I've lived in Pilsen for about two years now and have enjoyed it for the most part. There have been a few times where the combination of cheap rent verses gang activity made it a little sketchy. But either way, for the most part, I love Pilsen. So I was doing a little surfing on various Chicago sites and stumbled upon a review of my favorite restaurant in Pilsen. Azteca Taco! This place is fucking good! Trust me. I've had a lot of Mexican food in my day.

Isolated Tribes

Finally done!

It's kind of hard for me to figure out what I want to say in the first post of the newly redesigned hotdogjuice... I mean, what I really want to do is congratulate myself for enduring all the set backs of designing and then redesigning and then starting over and designing again. And also having to teach myself HTML (again) and CSS. But then again I look around the web and I see everyone who has done a redesign has endured something like my experience. But yeah... The redesign of hotdogjuice is finally done! Previous visitors would know that hotdogjuice just served as the domain to my personal blog (which is now in the blog section). But as a designer, I thought that I should have something more to represent who I am and what I do. So please stayed tuned friends and fellow surfers. There will be some fun stuff happening here.

Something that I wanted to show but not exactly include in the redesign is the logo I created for hotdogjuice. I created it really early on and as the design started develop further I decided to scrap it. I still like it but it just doesn't fit. If you can't figure out what it is, it's a package of hot dogs dripping juice. I hope everyone got that though.
